A hardening tunnel for packaged products, consisting of an isothermal box inside which a single drum mechanism flows, and a belt conveyor, all designed according to the required hardening capacity and the dimensions of the containers.
The structure is completely made of stainless steel. The system is designed with a horizontal flow of air blown parallel to the surface of the spirals, so as to guarantee a high heat exchange coefficient regardless of the amount of product on the belt.
The tunnel floor is installed on a reinforced concrete base at the customer’s charge. The insulation (thickness 160 mm) is provided by two layers of Styrofoam panels covered by a 3 mm stainless steel sheet welded on site, complete with drain channels on the sides.
The cooling system with evaporators and refrigeration units can be freon, ammonia or CO2, depending on the requirements, always dimensioned according to the production requirements. The evaporators, complete with axial fans, are designed to extend over the entire height and width of the spiral, so as to blow the air horizontally almost identically over all spirals.
The electric line control panel is equipped with Touch Screen Operator Panel, PLC, drive switches and emergency buttons.
The software can be SIEMENS, ROCKWELL/ALLEN-BRADLEY or similar. The line is supplied turnkey, complete with all accessories and connections.
